Meet the Founder

As the CEO and Founder of Translation Certified, Helia oversees all affairs of the company. She is personally responsible for Farsi translation requests while she manages a team of professional translators who handle translation requests for the other languages. Helia received her Ph.D in the field of Translation Studies from USM and has published a dozen books and articles on the subject. She served as a fulltime faculty member of Khatam university in Iran before she migrated to Canada.
Apart from the Academic world, she has also been an active member of the translation community as a professional Farsi translator for the past 20 years. She is a Certified Translator of the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario (ATIO) and a voting member of American Translators Association (ATA). She is also a Certified Translator to the Judiciary of Iran.
